UV protection alone does not protect the skin from the harmful effects of UV rays Reduces the burden on the skin by absorbing and cutting near-infrared rays Prevents both UV and near-infrared rays at the same time

Features of Trubeaute®

Coloring possible

Since it is possible to use white or bright colors, it is not only fashionable, but also prevents temperature rise due to visible light.

Sustainable materials

Recycled polyester is used for the polyester. It can also be promoted as an environmentally friendly fiber.

Long-lasting effect, easy to manage

Ceramic fine particles derived from rare metals are incorporated into the fibers, so the effect remains even after repeated washing. There is also no need to worry about it rubbing against clothes etc. and reducing its effectiveness.

Quick drying that prevents sweat and cold

It dries quickly in about half the time compared to regular polyester material. It also reduces the worry of sweating and getting cold.

POINT.1

Be careful of “near-infrared,” which
makes up about 42% of sunlight.

The world is full of products that claim to protect against ultraviolet (UV). However, only 6% of sunlight contains ultraviolet.
On the other hand, near-infrared (NIR) account for approximately 42% of sunlight. And recent research has revealed that even this near-infrared has a negative effect on our skin.

Ultraviolet is divided into UVB and UVA depending on the length of their wavelengths. Infrared is also divided into far-, mid-, and near-infrared depending on the length of their wavelengths, but most of the infrared contained in sunlight that reaches the ground are near-infrared.

POINT.2

Near-infrared reach deep into the skin.
and accelerate “photoaging”

Near-infrared has longer wavelengths than ultraviolet and can reach deeper into the skin. Furthermore, near-infrared is hot and can damage skin tissue, causing wrinkles and sagging. This is “photoaging.”
The tingling sensation you feel when your skin is exposed to the sun is due to near-infrared heat.
The same thing is happening inside your skin.

POINT.3

Absorbs and cuts near-infrared and
ultraviolet at the same time.

“Trubeaute®,” developed by Takisada-Nagoya, is a fabric that combines threads kneaded with “CWO®,” which absorbs near-infrared, and threads kneaded with titanium oxide, which reflects ultraviolet. CWO® has been praised for its high ability to absorb near-infrared and is also used as a heat shielding material in window films for buildings and automobiles around the world.

*CWO®…Ceramic fine particles made of inorganic materials using rare metals developed by Sumitomo Metal Mining Co., Ltd.

POINT.4

Higher near-infrared blocking rate compared to
conventional UV cut materials.

Tests using arm cover using “Trubeaute®” demonstrated its high effectiveness in preventing photoaging of the skin. Since it is more effective than conventional UV cut materials without having to be dark-colored, it can also be used to prevent heatstroke, and its potential use is expanding in a variety of fields, including apparel, sports, and miscellaneous goods.
